Tervuren are ACTIVE, medium-large, long-haired dogs that require a commitment of time and energy for a number of years. Are you willing to assume the time, expense and effort involved?
Is there a puppy kindergarten class in your area? What about other training classes? Have you gone to observe any of these classes/instructors? What kind of training methods do they use?
Belgian Tervuren are generally healthy, hardy dogs but potential problems may include epilepsy, vision problems, poor temperament, hip dysplasia, thyroid dysfunction or allergies. How do you think you might react if your dog developed one of these problems?
Would be interested in an older Tervuren that needs a good home?  Rescue or rehome dogs are sometimes available.
Would you be able to take any time off to get a new puppy or adult settled comfortably into your household and routine?  If yes, how long?
